Grand Man is a side-scrolling action-platformer with a superhero-comedy premise. You are a secret-identity hero escorting your grandma as she walks across the level carrying a stack of pies to your home. She will not stop walking.

## Goal

Get Grandma to the end of the level  with at least one pie left. She auto-walks forward, so you cannot slow her down. Clear the path before threats reach her.

## What You Do

- Run, jump, and shoot (click or tap to aim, or J/X to fire forward) at threats approaching Grandma.

- Pigeons swoop in on wavy paths and take one hit to defeat.

- Cats run along the ground, take two hits to defeat, and can be stomped from above.

- Cardboard boxes take three hits to destroy. If a box reaches Grandma, she loses one pie and is knocked back.

- Any other damaging collision costs one pie. The visible stack shrinks as pies are lost.

Suspicion rises while you are on the ground and drains while you are on platforms. If it fills completely, Grandma recognizes your secret identity.

## Ways to Lose

- All five pies are lost: “Grandma is not angry, just disappointed.”

- Suspicion reaches 100%: “Secret identity exposed!”

## Winning

Get Grandma to the end with at least one pie. Her end line is “You’ve gotten thin, dear.” Your best score is the percentage of pies you saved.

Difficulty ramps up over the level. Cats appear after about 20% of the way, boxes after 45%, and enemies spawn faster as you go.
